Claude Systems Room Induction Loop

Room Induction Loop from Claude SystemsThe Disability Discrimination Act (UK) states that any business or organisation providing a product or service to the general public is required to install induction loop or infrared systems where it is possible or unreasonably difficult for a deaf or hard of hearing person to make use of a service.
An induction loop is a cable that encloses the audience area. It connects to a loop amplifier that gets its signal from a microphone placed in front of the person speaking. It can also get a signal from a direct connection such as a sound system. The resulting electric current in the loop produces a magnetic field corresponding to the speaker’s voice.
Anyone within the area of the loop who is wearing a hearing aid switched to the ‘T’ setting, or a loop listening aid, can pick up sound from the loop. Users may need to adjust their own hearing aids for volume

Claude Systems design, install and maintain Room Induction Loop systems and can advise on the most appropriate systems and provide training on their use.
